I fitted Racetech emulators with stock springs, and it helped the choppieness of the front but the following year I replaced the springs too. The springs are 90% of the problem with the front, and I don't weigh much.

If I go the Hagon route and replace the front springs plus the rear shock, will I get a bike that will no longer loosen my fillings plus enable higher speeds through poorly surfaces back roads?I'm reluctant to purchase emulators and having to spend a huge amount of time trying to fine tune the installation,it seems that emulators are not quite plug and play!

^ you can put nearly any front end on if you dont mind messing around a bit, just get the sv stem pressed in to what ever yoke you are using. you might have problems with lock stops and the ignition but thats about it

Personally I would go for emulators and linear springs. Hagon progressives do nothing to fix terrible compression damping of forks. Hagon shock is better build quality than stock but not a much more technically advanced one.

Yep totally agree. I got progressive springs and the only advatage is that it helps with a pillion. Emulators are easy enough to fit, forget all that drilling malarky (see many other posts!). Set up the little spring (with random-sized Imperial Allen key, 17/64ths or whatever) so they are both equal, drop in forks, trim spacer tubes by the same as the height of the emulator (about an inch I think). Ride. Wonder why nothing seems different. Ride down lumpy B road with tarmac ripples and all manner of other crap, and then you'll get it!

uprated springs and oil for your weight make a huge diffrence, i went for k-tech springs and 10w oil, you wont believe the diffrence it makes, feels like a different bike
