I've never bothered telling them about points, I know a few of my mates have never either and ebven through fault claims, no mention of it. My 3 are due off this year though anyway! That claim is what is butchering you... |

I got my R6 and SV insured for less than £600 FC and the excess doesn't take the **** (quite good for a 22year old imo) I went through Bikesure (Adrian Flux). I think it was them when I rang up were asking me questions about where I work and where the bike is parked at work, how visible etc..all in a bid to get the insurance down as much as possible. Not sure if they were just bull****ting though ![]() Best thing to do is spend a few hours one evening/one Saturday ringing them up. Get's boring going over the same information but even if it saves you £100 and all the telephone numbers were free phone it's well worth it. |

Try Devitt. They came up cheap for my first years riding. First "big" bike and first years riding with cosmetic mods. Did you specifically say all mods were cosmetic, ie not performance enhancing?!

Try thebikeinsurer.tv - I've been on big bikes a year or so (2001 SV650S), had a total loss following theft the year before on my CBR125, came in at £200 fully comp. Renewal with Dial Direct was a little more (£250ish) but with that I get full legal and leathers cover. Your age might be the big one at the minute, hit 25 and it'll drop considerably

try the swift cover website, they have a bike comparison website which worked well for me, also get prices THEN tell them about the front end, then buy it, it is usually cheaper that way round..
