Load of bollox anyway, I used to go to all the social dos of the local grammar school and the girls with really strict/insane parents were always lots of fun.

I will try not to be like that wth my daughter. Being more relaxed about her dating will only help the two of us get along better, but I have suggested bolt croppers by the door when she gets to the going out stage (bit young yet at 13). Trouble is I just know I will be thinking about questions like those in that form...
