I certainly will but why do you use pictures of ABM top yokes on 998cc.com website? - it is bit confusing then ...
many thanks. |

Sexy yokes...
It is seeing things like this that make me wish I was working already. As a side question for my own future reference, are you able to make yokes for those folks who have done a fork conversion (probably Gixxer USD) on the Humble Pointy? Although I am skint at the moment, I do have plans for my little Sylvie... ![]() |

You cheeky toad! I don't really do pink as a rule. The only reason I have a pink and black jacket is because when I bought it, I didn't know better.
![]() I have a bright purple Handle bar ready to go and a Real Suzuki Naked SV top yoke. However, reading this forum gives me bad thoughts and I really like the look of USD forks. The wife is not going to like it, but I can feel a Gixxer front end next year if I am lucky in my new job. Cheers Matt. I will be in touch once I am able to pay for the bits I want. ![]() It is very odd to me, coming in from the push Bike world, where everything is standardised. Every frame has a standard sized head bearing , with a couple of common sizes to choose from. Wheels are standard width which means I can build up a £1000 pair of wheels and effectively fit them to a cheap £60 bike from ASDA or a £2K Hand built Titanium frame from Merlin. Why are Motorbikes so different and thus difficult to get bits for? ![]() |

Look at GSXR forks, majority are 50/54 size so they fit into many yokes, suzuki have only ever used 2 sets of head bearings, so anything fits almost anything else. Loads of calipers fit other stuff, even in the oily GSXR world different heads fit different engines, busa pistons go into SV's, you can mix and match engines, barrels, heads, gearboxes, clutches, frames!

Suzuki were always great at being interchangable, part of the reason that you see so many GSXR Streetfighters. My Fighter has only the orginal frame cradle left, everything else is off a different bike.
