And out braking is standard practice I thought, as long as it's not stuffing it up the inside.

yeah ive been looking for a track day to pop me cheery. turns out croft cut 19 out of 26 of their motorcycle track days. crap as i dont have a van to travel and dont fancy traveling 140miles to cadwell. any where else close by or am i just going to have to move down south to actually enjoy my track bike?

Malongworth - i haven't done a track day yet as i was worried about dropping my CB1000r but now i've got the SV aswell i may venture on. My mates all do cadwell. There's 3 who regularly go. one has a 2 bike trailer and another hires a van and puts 2 bikes in the back. Usually travel down the night before camp over, theres always good banter the night before and beer!!) then do the track day. so its best if you do it with a mate, half costs. If i decided to one nearer the end of the year i'll let ya know if theres a space for a bike.

croft is very expensive tho, 3 of us are heading to cadwell in a few weeks and even with hiring a van will work out cheaper than croft.

I was there in the fast group. K6 600. I am used to riding the sv now so bought the 600 for a bit more fun on the straight

its the 14th june, a monday, going in the novice group as none of us had done a track day when we booked it

i was riding a gsxr 750

steve, that would be awsome mate, plus end of the year sound good as ive still a bit to do to the bike to get it track worthy. no one i know rides a bike let alone goes to track days. they all prefer a roof over their heads while theyre driving for some reason. soft as pap i say. so let me know as i'll be deffinatly up for that. cheers
