well thought I'd update incase anyone was interested, (just trying to get the post count up lol):

I bought a new fuel pump relay for £4.51, and fitted it, decided that as I couldn't seem to find an ignition switch to match, I'd try the one I had, even though it didnt test very well.

It worked, fuel pump primed and the bike started!! I was going to take it out today, but doing my checks I noticed the headlamps didnt come on, I had side lights but not headlight or main beam. I went through checking the lamps, then the fuse, then checked for volts at the lamp conector, 0V, somethings wrong, toook the front faining off and checked the main connector for the headlights, 3.3V wierd? Took the tank off and the air box, checked the next set of connectors, the infamous 3, big white one, opened and cleaned, Healights work!!!

I have stripped this bike 2wice as many times as I've ridden it, when I had my R6, I'd washed it 2wice as many times as I'd ridden it! I know which I would preffer, but I do love fixing things!!

I like fixing things too, only problem is I start doing work when the weather`s crap with the idea that it won`t take long, then by the time the weather brightens up the bike/car/whatever is in bits, lol. I`ve hardly used my bike yet, bloody weather/life/family/customers/problems/blah blah blah.......
