Left hand is at about 70 to 80% following a break and pins/wires, left ankle is 'destabilised' (i think that means - 'it will vary between a niggle to a throbbing ache but it's not bad enough for the NHS to look at, but if you consider private we will see you next week'), right shoulder has never been the same since it was 'stepped' hitting the road at 50 also buggering up my right knee.

Then i grew up and started being a bit more responsible with my riding habits LOL

My pelvis aches in cold and wet weather following a break in 2004. In fact it was the superior and inferior pubic rami that I broke, both on the left side. And I have a scar on my left hip where a piece of roadstone went through my leathers exposing my hipbone, from the same off.

Lesson: don't grab the front brake in a corner

I hit a tractor at about 90mph in 1988 when he turned across me into a field as I overtook him (without indicating) then drove over my leg with his trailer. I walked away with a bruised foot and a slight dent on my bicep. I have a slight red blotch on my right foot when it gets cold.

I jumped a car on a humped back bridge in 1987 at 55mph. I remember looking right and seeing the top pf a telegraph pole as I flew past it. I actually landed the bike on its wheels 30 yards up the road and walked away after sliding another 30. I have a very slight scar on my left shoulder the size of a penny where my leathers wore through. The car driver came and saw if I was OK and I asked if I'd hit his car. he said I'd cleared him by a good two yards.
I rode the bike home on very flat rims.

I've been through the hedge so many times I've lost count and even walked away from a 140mph crash at knockhill on (someone else's!) GSXR1100

I came off outside the Police headquarters in Ponteland, in Northumberland, at about 90 on a wet patch in jeans and a leather jacket and walked away with a scuff on my thigh.

As I say, I've been very lucky

But Snowboarding, that's another story! I've got more permanent injuries from that than racing bikes, mountain bikes and all the other dangerous stuff put together.

OMG you must be one of the unluckiest or l(ucky depending on how you look at it) people, and the 80's seems like a bad decade for you.

I smacked my knee against a tree while scrambling around a woodland area at 15 and in the cold my knee still aches 15 yrs later.

7 months after my last off I still sport a rather long tibial nail and quite a few self tapping screws so that it doesn't feel lonely Hopefully the screws will be coming out shortly but the nail is there to stay I can walk but any distance longer than 0.5 mile and it starts hurting. Although I've put lots of strength back into the muscles through extensive physio and gym I'm still very much limited by the pain and for the moment I can forget about running. Despite a 2nd straightening surgery my foot is still slightly rotated and as a result I'm a bit lopsided when on the bike. Not to mention loss of sensation in parts of legs, skin discolouration and skin allergies (most probably reaction to the metalwork). As no joints were damaged in the accident I was supposed to return to full range of movement but it doesn't really seem likely at the moment
Did I yet mention the counselling I've just started to help me with the lack of sleep and anxiety?....
And all that from a 25mph off.... It is a dangerous hobby

That off I posted about was 6 years ago today, I can still remember the bike (my SV) shaking violently, seeing the speedo at 47mph as I flew off the bike, and I can still vividly remember landing in the road. I used to have nightmares about it but those have long since stopped. Even more painful than the fractures was the sciatica that followed - pain trawled straight from hell.

Don't crash

When I fell off in October my right knee use to play up has stopped now, as Berlin said I've had more injuries in a week of snowboarding than riding a bike for a year.

My wrist is rather crunchy after breaking most of it 3 years ago. Unlikely to get any better and hurts like a c*** when it's cold.

Knee after May 2009 off, fluid still on it, cannot feel anything touching front of knee, all there is, is a tingly feeling. Any impact at all on it, has me struggling for 3 days at least to bend it, let alone walk/run.
