Makes you wonder who they employ to do work on your pride and joy. Not only the potential fatal mistake of leaving the bolts out, but the fact the yoke got damaged in the first place

I believe something has happened, although it would be wrong of me to say if its gone bang or just broked, something about actually riding it was mentioned on facebook!
Dunno if its fixed, it was a couple of weeks back.

Some. I had a Daytona 955i and loved it to bits, was just too bulky for what I needed at the time. It was dead reliable and never let me or the previous owner down.

Was probably your wallet hanging out of your pocket that really did the damage Phil...

a bit off topic but you asked. Radiator is fixed, but the rad hose to the water pump is being squished by the crash bung....which I did say could have been a problem, it was one of the issues that can make em pop, but no one listens to me anyway.
So YC has had a peek, and should be easy to rectify with a different sort of hose.

Just reading an article in Fast Bikes(the one with the tank protector 'and' allen keys if in Asda this month)

Triumph Speed triple 1050, 1006 miles,
'I was enjoying a steady but sunny ride..right until the speed just stopped, and wouldn't start again, why~?, You got me, and I had to wait five hrs at the side of the road to ponder the problem! Gone back to Triumph now, so I should be able to give you an answer by next month, and no, I didn't run out of petrol'

Seems Orose isn't the first to have problems with his Triumph just stopping!!
