When you cleaned the pond out, did you clean out your filter media.....? Please dont say you threw the media out and put brand new media in..?

Cheers, I'll look into getting a new UV for the old filter, but the filter that is being used in the fish pond is only 2 or so months old.

Go to a good aquatic centre and ask the staff there, not Pets @ Home or similar.
Plenty oxygen in the water hun as I have plants and the pond is agitated quite a lot from the feeds coming out of the filters.

No, no, no, no. Not on your nelly. I only ever clean the media with pond water, and it wasn't required when I moved the fish. My larger filter is also self cleaning, you just turn a knob, knock/shake it a couple times and it's done!

Looking at it again, the fish that keeps swimming up, doesn't seem to be able to float. If it stops it appears to sink, so has to keep swimming upwards. It also doesn't appear to be able to swim very easily, it all seems very laborious and not at all graceful (i.e. very wriggley!)

The murky water seems as if you are going through some kind of algae boom but seeming as you have cleaned your media properly, its strange.

I keep tropical fish so I know a little, but there is a dedicated pond section on there so give that a try.
