E3 - Gaming convention

Well personally I don't judge a game by it's multiplayer capabilities, I judge it on how well it deals with me playing as an individual on my own, how well written the storyline is etc. It's one of the reasons I love Modern Warfare 2 so much, the story was totally encapsulating and sucked you in.

Yet to feel the same way about a character or story from a MoH game, although they have all been based in WW2, so a little hard to directly relate, although Band of Brothers did a cracking job for me...

I'm thinking The Old Republic might be the MMO to wean me away from Warcraft, but there's the Cataclysm expac coming out for that soon(tm), so I shall stick with WoW for a little while longer at least

Jamesy D, if you like story line then id advise trying the Half life series.

Naughty bear will be my next game purchase

I wish they would bring Star Wars out for the seXbox as well.

Stuff I'm looking forward to:

Halo Reach: No need to explain... it's Halo, so it's guna pwn everything.
MoH: Looks good. Hoping it can beat CoD
Nintendo 3DS looks like it could be really good.
Rage: Again, nowt needs to be said.

Naughty Bear looks immene fun too, as does the new Transformers game.

Not too sure what I think about Kinect. It's obviously a bloody good idea and they can pull it off, but I don't think it excites me that much. We'll see.

Xbox will never get a MMORPG of any calibre, simply because Microsoft lock it down too much. Just have to sort out a PC to play star wars, much better exp imo anyway.

Halo: Combat Evolved was an excellent game, Halo 2 was good but too short, Halo 3 was OK and criminally short, and ODST fun but again short. A big budget game like that should be 7+ hours (like the first one) at normal setting, not 3 hours... I know films that are longer. Ill wait and see if Reach is again seriously lacking in single player length before paying good monies. People do say that Halo 3 online is great, but ill be honest I had nothing but bad experiences. Used to love playing Halo 1/2 in 16 player lan games

i must be one of the only people to play HL2 and not like it lol

im waiting patiently for crysis 2 and the next race driver grid if it ever gets relised

Campaign length on Halo 3 was pretty decent I thought. I suppose it all depends what difficulty you try to do it on, I did it on Heroic and it took a fair while. Legendary is summat else, though. Online is where it's at for Halo 3.

I didn't buy ODST since everyone slated it and I wasn't gonna spend £40 just so TI could play the Reach BETA for a month.
