Why should he?By not just doing the compliant grovel expected he has highlighted the evil of too much power being invested in those quite incapable of managing it.And a good thing too.

not being funny here but as a former member of the forces i went to great pains not to be photographed especially in uniform, now if the photpher was taking photos of me i would have asked him to stop and dispose of the photos for my personal safety, now i know he was in a public place and has a right to take pictures there but due to being asked to stop by either the police or forces he should have respected that and stopped
again i know by laws he's allowed but he should know the possible ramafications of his actions, call it professional curtisy

The evil of too much power? They were trying to organise a large event and some kid is leaping around with a camera getting in the way. All he has to do is show some respect and move along when first asked, no big deal. He's plenty of time to make a complaint afterwards, take his 'evidence' from afar, but no, he has to challenge the officers authority, stand for his rights, yada yada.

If the Officers had put it like that he "might" have agreed as its a sensible comment/request but as they went with the children line he didnt agree, and downhill it went.

It was a parade in public.Plenty of public servants in uniform get photographed doing their duty in public places. Now maybe we should have some right to not be in someones happy snaps, but we dont.It goes with the territory so live with it.
