Frick me, if you think he ain't all that god knows what you'd think of my riding. Have you ever actually watched him wrestle that Ducati around a track? He has problems with his setup at the moment, but lots of riders are complaining about front end problems, not just Stoner.

He'll bounce back, whether it's on the Ducati or back over at Honda

ahem, rossi on a ducati... you see what i did there

i just think its more the bike that suited his style. his first season he seemed to lose the front all the time and now he is back to his old form. a switch to honda may well prove me wrong.
butm what i dont get is why have they changed the ducati from the end of last season when it hoofed it round the track at the few races he was back for?

Rossi wont go anywhere unless Burgess and his crew go too. With them in place and suitable budget I dont see why he shouldnt be fully competitive on the Duke.

Because of the badly fractured leg I would say... it's going to be hard to get back to full fitness and fully trust that leg... and that just the physical side. He got to be back mentally too.

The xray pics were fairly shocking and one of the bike mags has a picture of him on the floor and the leg was visibly broken (bent), it's not easy to come back from something like that and be competitive straight away as a young'un let alone when your starting to get on a bit.

Casey won the title during the first 800cc season. U success part based on the Italian firm getting so much right with their bike from the off and partly due to Casey's mega cojones riding style. He was a deserved champ make no mistake.

But now for the second season on the trot the Ducati has been meddled with in order to tame it so that not only Casey can ride it to respectable finishes. They have tamed the power curve which is a positive, but the minimalistic carbon fibre frame that they have been toying with for too long now, does create the front end lack of stability,(not good when you brake has hard as Casey and get on the gas again when still well cranked over as he does.)

When Casey was on his Honda,(satelite bike) he had to ride on the limit every lap to be able to get anywhere near the full factory a necessity that did have the downside of seeing him come unstuck a number of times. But when he was doing all of that,Ducati saw enough to want to sign him. he rewarded them by bringing the title home the following season.

The Yamaha is the best all round package in world racing and has been for the past 3 seasons. If Rossi does go to Ducati we will really see how good his development input is then. (Let's not forget that he turned the Yamaha from a pig to a world title winning bike in the blink of an eye.)

If Rossi does go to Ducati then I am sure he is going for the money and to do well.

I think he may do.

I think he will quit well before he gets average.

I have a policy in that I don't critisise anyone's riding until I can beat them.

*Anyone* on the grid of a GP/WSB/WSS is a rider beyond. Respect to them all.

... ahem and even Rossi thinks Stoner is brilliant.
