Even organ transportation isn't that frequent up here.
I hope you get somewhere with it though I know the rare occassion when you could do with urgent blood in the community (ie a PPH at a home birth or similar).

think we're steering away from blood and SCotblood are unco-operative to say the least - though i'm sure we can stop FV spending £200 per day on a taxi to wait around for the possibilty that something/someone may need transporting.
@Guru - we've managed to find a guy that has already started something simil;ar and trying to get it off the ground at the mo. He's made inroads with the NHS and seems supportive so far but everything is dragging along as always
