If you're going to do it at least have the decency to do it on one wheel

P.S great thread. I think mr IAM is now ashamed at his vids as he's taken them off

If the standard of riding in those three videos is anything to go by, I wouldn't hold your breath

In 32 years of avoiding accidents, that's where I see it.

The Royal Mail van was pretty much justified in pulling out, so I don't see what the fuss was about. It's a city centre, when you drive a slow as **** van you take what chances you get to pull out of junctions, and any rider worth his salt appreciates that and modifies his riding accordingly in city traffic - like keeping speed down, correct positioning, and being mega alert to everything around you. No-one had to take drastic avoiding action for the RM van, so it wasn't really doing that bad a manouver.

If you honestly can't see the riding/driving faults and road hazards in those videos, then do you local Police Bikesafe or find a training school that offers some advanced tuition to less experienced riders who have a licence. I personally will never recommend doing IAM training for a number of reasons, but that's me, YMMV.

I think thebluelion meant where are the other videos, maybe? The one there obviously isn't a serious, or even potentially serious manoeuvre, and the rider had plenty of clear view for a long time to react to it. There was clearly no need to rush up to it like that as an earlier ease off the throttle would have allowed the van to move off and the route would have been clear again. It would have also meant that he was going slower, and therefore, maore able to react to anyother developments such as another vehicle pulling out, one pulling in, or something unseen on the other side of the van obstructing the road. I'm no IAM rider but I do pride myself on good forward observation and planning. Neither of which seem to be in this riders agenda. I'd be asking IAM for a refund
