Why do you have to replace the flywheel, me confused.

Have you just tried the lieks of Mr Clutch or similar?

Mr Clutch £810.

Dual mass flywheels disintergrate and if they break apart the gearbox gets smashed. Mine rattles and the slave cylinder has now died. There is a solid mass conversion that changes to a conventional flywheel and clutch to eliminate £800 every 60-100k in Mondeos
