It's a well known and popular kit car supplied by Beauford which uses a cut down Mini body on a seperate chassis with a choice of engines up front. That door catch is a Mini one, not a Lada item. The seats aren't from any Ford with that single post headrest, they came from a BMC/BL/Rover car (possibly even a Mini but I can't see enough of them to say) but the seat lifter handle and mech might well be a Fiesta bit.

I sold a couple of lovely Wood and Pickett Mini-Margrave dashboards to Beauford builders a few years back

I was thinking of later Fiestas, haven't had much to do with early ones.

Probably is a 2.0L Pinto engine. The chap over the road from me has two Beaufords that he uses for his wedding car business. Both are based on running gear from mk4/5 Cortinas. I personally preferred them when they were Cortinas

Not a fan of these I'm afraid, even though I can imagine a lot of effort going into them. A bit too pastiche for me.
