I still haven't taken anyone on pillion, but then I'm not insured for it. Kind of feel I should also experiance of being a pillion first.
And yeah, shorts under leathers. |

I havent taken a pillion yet, confidence thing. Scared of becoming off balance at stops lol.
My mates that want to go on the back expect me to ride like a **** everywhere too, which I am definately not ready for yet, esp with a pillion. |

We had an understanding that she would let me know when she was going to move about on the seat at a stop. I put the bike in neutral and put both feet on the floor then let her know she could wriggle to her hearts content! |

This is me. 5'3.5" (at this height even the .5" counts...) and stationary balance is my thing.
I havent dropped my bike for weeks now and I;d like to keep it that way, til I feel comfortable with having someone one the back. Did you find it was easier to get the feet down with a pillion, with the bike being lowered from extra weight? No not enough to make any discernable difference? |

Now you mention it yes it was easier to get my feet down.
I usually say I am 5'4.1" to get a bit of extra height! Its leg length thats the pain (28") Do you have a lowered seat on the bike? |
