I agree around lake Como it's pretty crowded. And the D500 does require a little hoofing to be made fun, it feels a little naughty when travelling at the "appropriate" speed. Looks like you had a great time. September is great for these trips, loads of available accomodation for last minute flexibility.

What camera were you using there mate? really clear pics, i know it's the special light lol.

Looks like a good time was had. Can you give me the name of the hotel you stayed at in Lake Como please as i like the view from your room.

Camera is a 3 year old Casio Exilim, nothing fancy. I think it's on it's way out, there seems to be dark patches on the edge of the pics.

Yeah you can see the dark strip on the left hand side of some pics, but as i was reading and then came to the photos after you wrote about going into switzerland they are really clear and bright, and i went wow, lol.
