Someone I know tried to start his Ducati for about 5 mins or so before realising the kill switch was off.
5 mins is a very long time to be prodding on the kickstart of a sizeable two cylinder motorbike. He was in a proper mess of sweating and puffing, we, of course, were extremely sympathetic. Not  .
