That's quite sad but in my mind this is the saddest song. My favourite of all time and the only one I can sing and play on the guitar at the same time with confidence lol. Also one of my favourite films.

Hmm my childhood version was:-
Puff the magic dragon, lived by the sea. He didn't have a lady friend to call his very own. Then one day he met her, a cracking bit of stuff But he didn't know what to do that's why they named him puff.
