Good luck Ed!

I have an interview this afternoon after being on the agencies books since June.

Company Secretarial Job's in the midlands are hard to find, this is the first one of my level to come up the rest are all in London! And the agency as they are based in London their idea of West Midlands and close to Birmingham is ummmm different! So far spec's for jobs in Northampton, Bristol and Manchester were what they had sent me.

Keep looking as well Ed, took Drew 10 months of looking and 2 lost postions due to "internal" filling to find his current role.

Goto your local job centre* and ask for "travel to interview assistance" they normally will cover your return train fare for the journey and any over night stay if needs be.
Take proof of the interview with you and details of the company/agency so thay can verify the interview and off you go.
Useful for anyone travelling to interviews not just those on JSA.
I used it a couple of times last year to get form Cardiff to Gloucester, saved me £30 odd twice.

*You might need to call them first to arrange a time to go in the more notice the better.
