Fenda extender is a really easy fit, you just glue it on.
There are the mods I did to mine and if I can do them anyone can. Double Bubble screen (didn't really improve the wind protection but looked a lot better) Blue Flame end can, (sounded amazing and looks a lot better than the standard Bazooka) Hugger and fender extender (essential if you plan on riding in all weathers) Chewy's mirror extenders (good if you want to do any motorway riding) Crash Bungs (will provide some protection but don't expect miracles) If you don't plan on taking a pillion I would also get a pillion seat cover as they improve the look of the bike a lot. Check prices for all of these with your Suzuki dealer first as sometimes genuine parts are cheaper than aftermarket ones and always fit better. All of these are already covered many times so if you need some help do a search and you're bound to find loads of info.

+ 1 for the extenda A MUST HAVE, easy peasey to fit. I would suggest removing the mudguard to do it as it makes it a lot easier and safer, normally held in place with small plastic fixings/bolts/rivets, I added a bead of silicone sealant between the 2 mating surfaces before tightening, yes a bit fussy but much neater and secure??
Enjoy the bike most of all have safe fun. JOHN |

Heated grips are great in winter.
In summer my horn stopped working on several hot days, according to a quick search of Google this is quite common due to it getting too hot. £5 spend at a local car scrap yard got me a Ford Focus horn which has worked without fault since and is much louder than the pathetic peep of the standard horn. Also fairly simple to do. |

Hi,
The bike has crash bunges allready which is cool. I am amazed how much even small mods cost, but I know what people can get me for Christmas, how do you remove the front mud guard to fit the exender, I noticed the screws but still wont come off don't want to break it, pic would be good. |

the bolts on the inside of the legs have a hex head and a screw (philips) on the front of the screw so if u can get the wheel off it should come off if not a big hammer or mole grips would do it
ps i spent £1500 on the bike and £2k on mods so far :s ![]() |

Yeah you can take the front fender off with the wheel in place, there's 2 x bolts on the inside behind the callipers, you need a 10mm spanner for those, just reach into the wheel and feel around. The 2 x Allan head bolts you can see are easy enough.
If you haven't already done it then the best £15 you can spend is a can of ACF-50, basicly spray everything except the brakes and tyres and wipe off the excess... It will make some awesome smoke from the exhaust headers (neighbour thought my bike was on fire) but will help to protect them too. Edit Got to add that ACF-50 is a lubricant too, a little pricey to be a WD-40 substitute but removing the seat and not spraying it would be a good idea. Most of the bolt's i removed from mine were put in a jam jar with some ACF until it was time to put it all back. Last edited by Stonesie; 13-11-10 at 09:43 PM. |

Hi, and welcome to the site. All good suggestions about R&Gs, fender extenders, etc. Let me guess, you're new to biking, spent a bit on gear and not too much spare cash to spend on extras. We've all been there. But....don't get caught up in the "must replace the exhaust" rubbish. If it doesn't need replaced, don't replace it, otherwise it's a complete waste of money. With respect, at your level of experience, you want to spend as much time as possible on the bike learning your roadcraft, not replacing the exhaust to get a better/louder noise. All the best, buddy, and take it easy.
