Yep maybe, and if nothing else it would give more room for the rider to move around on a long journey, but it would compromise the pillion seat. I'd rather have it such that the knee problem just can't happen wherever I sit. It would be annoying to find yourself shifting forward to move position 'cos of a sore ar$e, then have to shift straight back, because the knees are touching again!

It's not like I'm bothered about sitting at bit higher up. More comfortable and my feet are flat on the floor sitting on a normal ST

Have you considered a Baglux seat by Bagster? They are made just down the road from me in Abergele and are top notch. Pricey but I believe you specify everything though.

I hadn't 'cos I didn't realise they were custom seats where you specify the shape.

His dads an upholsterer for Aston martin and was looking at doing custom work for bikes.

I used this set up in Bradford and they did an amazing job on my standard SV seat.
