OK.... I'm new to polishing but so far I have had a good level of success.
My strategy has been start with the most abrasive thing which will shift all the burned in and work finer. For my downpipes I had no chance with even the coarsest mop - but I used one of the wire brush drill attachments. Then my coarsest mop can easily remove the fine scratches left by that. In all, after only a few hours everything was looking pretty good. The only thing is that although I have removed all the burned in crap from the very top of the front downpipe it is quite pitted from the corrosion. Is there any chance I can smooth over these pits. And what would you suggest for the job? Obviosuly there some kind of limit before I polish the entire thickness of the pipe away. Thanks, a1istair |

Ive seen it and heard varying reviews on it.
There was melted plastic and deep rust on this section, didnt think the stuff would shift it. |

oh trust me....it gets rid of boot marks and Raptor rust
![]() Even works on the crap on the rear downpipe, that has to be the worst one to try it on. Just have to be very careful about getting it anywhere other than the downpipes though, its naasty.
