Just ride it. You're not on a race track. Tyres do not warm up riding normally at this time of year. Get a grip (get it ?)

If conditions are as bad as that use the common sense you were born with and find an alternative form of transport-----Heaven is full of would be heroes.There is no shame in living to fight another day,why risk your life to be macho?
You don't have to take advice from anybody on here as some of what has been said is just down right stupidityeven if it is in jest, and all I can say is I am still riding motorbikes after 45years,so work it out for yourself.

Much better to be safe than sorry
