Maxton, K-tech, Hagon... Does it matter who manufactures them? A spring is a spring. It's the properties of the spring and your choice of oil you need to worry about IMO.

Yeah it does matter since hagon only make progressive "one size fits none" versions.

And no matter how they sell it I am not seeing one spring being "perfect solution" for guy who is 8 stone with rocks in pockets and guy who is 19 stone before lunch at same time!!

Either is fine, I would go 0.85 depending on your rear shock. If you have a good shock then go 0.9.

So that'll be one of the properties of the spring that I said he needed to worry about then

He may read other advice elsewhere and decide he wants progressives. In which case Hagon would be in the running.

Like I said, it's not the manufacturer that matters, it's what spring you want.

They are on the way but more complicated than first thought, need a different sort of adaptor.

Just ring Maxton and tell them what weight you are in riding gear and what type of riding you do.

They will talk you through the options but to help here are some of the options listed for the SV.

Mine will be a sight cheaper than that when I make them for 2gen, and adjustable for rebound and comp. too.
