Another vote for zumo 660. tried using a car sat nav but all the faf of utting it in a bag etc was annoying. The zumo is spot on. Expensive but then I use it for music too. I spent about £500 on my last car stereo so I just look at it like i'm getting entertainment and navigation in one. I paid £400 for the zumo a year ago.

Mine was £390 earlier this year. Worth every penny and the best Sat Nav I have ever and that includes my £1500 Audi MMI.

waterproof, no I wouldn't put it in a bucket of water, weatherproof yes, rubberized zip plastic coated material and rubber powercord inlet, that's a car satnav I have in mine and I've not had a problem in the last 40,000 miles with it.
Cheers Mark.

lol - I was going to ask the very same thing as the OP, kinda.
My 99 year old Tom Tom One is starting to annoy me now, battery is well past its best and randonly switches off. I'd like something with some more features too, like the Google Maps thing. Off to look at your recommendations...I also have the tankbag that goes with the satnav holder Mark showed, which is a bonus. |

I was close to opening a new thread and then found this one.
![]() I am on the mooch for a Sat Nav for the bike at the moment as planning on using it for work properly again. Most of my jobs are based on Post Codes etc so hence I need a Sat Nav. ![]() I use a TomTom in my car which I love! but have consider the Garmin 660 or Tomtom Urban Rider or TomTom Rider 2 (I used to have a Rider 2, many years ago but I sold it when I stopped riding for a few years.) Is the TomTom Urban Rider better or worse than Rider 2, then on top of that what benefits do you get with Garmin 660?

Garmin 660 is way too much cash and the tom rider 2 has feature which the black urban doesn't have.
