Recommend Me A: Vice

if you go second hand (advisable) take a bit of scaffold pole with you and test the winder while you are there. tighten as hard as you can and if the vise 'pops' walk away. the ones with quick release are handy but tend to crack at the mechanism. i've had a few skint knuckles and sore bits because vices have given up at the wrong point.

and as said bolt it down to something solid which is preferably bolted to the floor. nowt worse than a vice that moves around.

i bought that one a few weeks ago and it does the trick, can't believe how much I have used it since.
before I bit the bullet and bought it though I tried a local ebay search as well as the free ads papers and gumtree etc. There were a couple on gumtree but were sold when I asked.
