I got a set of hex security allan keys. Broke one and went back to get it replaced. They initially asked for a receipt which I did not have. I said what difference does it make? They are guaranteed for life and they are from Halfords. They replaced the broken one.

I've had a set in the toolbox for 20 years or so. A handy set of tools to have, but not a substitute for a good set of open end & ring spanners, meaning that have them "in addition to", not "instead of".
