Dont worry about the miles too much. If you had a smash and the insurance companies did check and you were over im sure one of your mates with fully comp could say he used it for a couple months on his policy.

You don't tell the insurance companies what mileage the vehicle had at policy start, therefore how can they keep track of how many miles you are doing?

If you'd had an MOT between when you started your policy and your crash?

I did my quote with 5000 miles
then did one with 10000 and the price went up 2 pounds.

Maybe this thread should be deleted/locked... Mileage correction (when found out, is against the law) also for mot purposes it's dangerous.

I for one wouldnt even think about it let alone announce it on a forum. I'd consider your bike unsellable to any member from this point onwards after the mere mention on it here. Pretty sure after mileage correction there would be issues with mot's & servicing intervals. Plus if it's still under warranty say ta ta to that. Your considering fraud with your insurance? - have a nasty off and your on your own & possible prosecution.

This isn't something for our forums, i'm sure most members in here would agree with my points.

Which, IMHO, is why it shouldn't be deleted incase someone on here unwittingly purchases this bike...
