Ah, the good old "added value" strikes again.

Shame you didn't buy mine, I could have sent you all the info you'd ever need for free because you bought my ridiculously cheap frame. I could also have thrown in most of the stuff you need too.

I used to get this all the time from folks who phoned up my shop. I'd sometimes spend 45 minutes explaining stuff to them and recommending how to use stuff, only to have them say "I'm going to buy it from XYZ because they are 50p cheaper" not realising that you'd just wasted 45 minutes of your life trying to help them.

Tuna,
I'd suggest you ask whomever you got your frame from. Or at the very least, use the Seach function you seem very capable of using, to find out what you want.

Harry, the 675 Fairing is definitely narrower but if its supposed to do the job of "fairing" thern the Larger fairing is more efficient. I looked like a giant on my bike... and it did a very poor job of "Fairing".

90% of me is out in the breeze!

The fairing on the new bike isn't a SDC M1. Its the one they used for their inspiration for the M1 from harris (and it was £700 new!) The shape of the top fairing is completely different on the sides. The SDC has a huge cutaway for the handlebars and mine hasn't. SDC were asked not to copy the original so they changed the design.

The side view of mine..

and the side view of the SDC M1...

Yes the Harris deffo looks better than the SDC.

I didnt have £700 when I was building mine and the 675 fairing was in the deal, in fact I think I paid £700 for the rolling chassis, engine, 2 boxes of bits, spare wheels and the fairing. I got the fairblade tail later on as it looked the best for the style of it.

Is that the pointy tail on yours Carl or something else?

I can assure you I wouldn't have paid £700 for it either But I got two full (very second had) sets with the bike as you did with the 675 (which, incidentally, looks much better with the nose cone open like yours)

I still haven't traced the manufactuer of the tail unit, even though its very distinctive with the V cut out at the back. I'm presuming its was part of the Harris GP set as its made from the same heavy kevlar (I think) mix as the fairing. Its had to have brackets added to reach the SV mounting points.

And it looks like it was made for an underseat exhaust.

It should be transformed by the middle of best week

Carl, is that chain straight?
Looks as if the rear sprocket is further outboard than the front - or is it my wonky eyes?
