I'd go with that, or leave it at GMT. Can't see the point in changing it as they do.

More daylight in the evening please, makes it easier to get the gardening, car washing, and all that stuff during the week, and leave the newer longer days free at the weekends for riding bikes.

I'm a weekend warrior nowadays, so like to get salt & muck washed off properly in the daylight on a Sunday afternoon before it goes back in the garage for a week, at the moment that means cutting Sunday rides short and heading home for about 4pm.

I would prefer to have lighter evenings really, Im not a morning person, get out of bed with the minimum time neccasary to get ready and go to work so would not make any use of light in the mornings. would be nice to have more light in the evenings as the only time I have any time to do anything in daylight this time of year is the weekends. On the other hand kids got to walk to school and its icy enough in the mornings already so just leave it as is gets my vote.

Leave it as it is. TBH I don't care about dark/light in the evenings, I've got used to the way things are after 30 years on this planet. I work 11hr days so it's generally dark when I go in & dark when I go home anyway except in summer.

What does bother me is if we change to CET it will probably cause me a load of extra work in my job! I already have enough work to do every year looking after customers' systems to ensure that the BST/GMT change doesnt c0ck things up, and I've just about got it down to a smooth routine by now. Changing to CET would cause me a load of grief cos I'd have a ton of reprogramming to do!

Disclaimer: If I get a new job anytime soon then by all means, go nuts & change everything, I won't give a flying one then!
