i've just started using the rain-x 2-in-1 glass cleaner for days out. got the trigger bottle but its crap so i put some in a smaller bottle with a better spray (more like an atomiser). only takes a cppl squirts and it clears the bugs and road grime off no problem doesn't leave streaks and still gives good rain repellency. only time will tell if it screws my visor up.

I use it on the car all the time - never thought to use it on my visor..

I must be thick.

You can use it on the inside of your visor as well (it'll reduce fogging). As for Iridium visors, it depends. I've had a couple and while it worked well on one, it stripped the other. My suggestion would be to test it on a small section of the corner before committing.

Can only be used on non coated visors, if you have an antimist coating it can remove this leaving the visor patchy!

I've used it a lot, I don't like it when riding in the dark. It makes car headlamps fuzzy coming the other way, great for daytime use.

That isnt always true , Ive used it on a few cars and only had problems with one. I dont know why that is though, but I have heard other people say exactly the same as you.
