the panel depends on the colour of the bike... but looking at your to be bike i would say its a late registered 06. one way to tell if the bike is an 07 is the '650' part of the SV650S on the upper faring should be in black. if its in silver its an 06 so a different colour of blue.

It says K6 on the description and the 650 part is in Silver.

So are you saying that the panels on ebay wont match that bike?

Here is a better pic. Is this repairable with plastic welding or would a new panel be the best bet price wise?

you would have to get the colour code from the service record book and match it to the panels on ebay.

the panel looks dented so will need filled also. unless you know a good bike sprayer then new panel is best option.

by the description on the ebay listing it states that its for the latest colour of blue which is completely different. they are the same colour as the blue pointy that peterco has posted.

do you know a sprayer? as i have a set of grey ones that i would part with cheep cheep. you would just need to get them sprayed. i know there is a bike sprayer in thornton who is reasonable.

That sounds like a plan. I will haggle like Ive never haggled before and take you up on that offer if I get the bike.

I was supposed to be going through on Sunday morning with the Brother-in-law but I dont think he sounds too keen. If there is anyone with a few hours to spare from 8am on Sunday moning (Ouch I know) then the Bacon rolls are on me lol.
