I was just wondering... is it just random routes decided on the day and how long are you usually out for? Whats the average attendance? Im really looking forward to doing some run outs.

Any ride out I'll organise will tend to be at short notice ie no more than a day or two in advance because I never know when I'll have childcare. And they usually last the afternoon, rarely all day tho.

Average attendance can vary, sometimes it's me and one other, sometimes just me, sometimes 4 or more. Whoever can get there really. Anyone is welcome - it's always nice to see folks.

Usually I just ride and see where I end up - usually at an ice cream shop or chippy somewhere! I do have a few roads in mind that I want to get to this year though.

Wait til the middle of April when Bibio is ready - his ride outs are usually a bit more organised, usually planned a week or two in advance with a route planned, and they are a tad more spirited, although everyone very much rides for themselves and stays safe!

I think the ice cream runs and the GM are the most organised, but the spirit of the Ecosse section is such that anyone can suggest a ride out and if folk are available they'll turn up at your designated meet point and go with you.
