No, thats because my girlfriend has her own bike and shes also faster than me on it to...

Personally I'd not push the issue, if she doesnt want to go on the back she doesnt. Just accept it and keep it as selfish hobby that you enjoy and then find something else that both of you like doing that you can do together.

if she doesnt want to get on the bike fair enough, tell her to get the bus home or buy her own car. I dont enjoy going pillion especially with my OH.

My wife still won't ride pillion after 24 years, some things you have to accept.
