If the first one didn't work then:

Change Google Account...

Settings > Applications > Manage Applications

Clear data for:
Google Apps
Google Mail
Google Mail Storage

Reboot phone.

Launch Google Talk. It closes itself right away first launch, so launch it again. Now it runs the Setup Wizard.

Sign in with your new Google account.

Google Talk will then log in. Gmail and Calendar will begin to sync in the background.

Go in to Contacts > Edit Sync Groups, choose the groups you want to sync. These will then sync down too.

All done.

Might be a bit late now.
