That's a good mod .gona try it as its pain having to give two bites to get to the stop.

I've done it to both my SVs (Pointy naked and S) and it made quite a difference when cracking on a bit. It really does make life easier as you hit max throttle without straining your wrist or shifting hand position on the grip.

I'm now looking for a suitable replacement throttle tubes for my Versys and CBR600. Both have stupidly long turns from closed to fully open.

Mines arrived today, right part number, but is black tube, thought the required one was white?

Can ayone confirm, or confirm that it doesnt actually matter and have fitted the black one.

Stealer doesnt accept returns on sprcial order items, so hoping its ok to fit and will do the job.

yeah its Copes up on whitehall industrial estate, was £10.18p in the end. Ive read up on svrider and the black one is correct, the part number seems to be from around `04 onwards bikes.

Went to fit it this evening and my bar end screw wouldnt come out, so needs drilling out

They all do that Sir

Drill the head off with a 10mm drill bit then grab the stub with a pair of mole grips, after giving it a spray with plus gas
