Yeah I agree with both you guys, but let me clear one thing up. I by no means am a rookie rider I started out on 2001 hurl m2 cyclone ( v twin) pushing a hundred hourse power. Then sold that bought a 1999 custom fatbot with a 98 cu motor. I was want to reNdition it to a rocket but my insurance was to high. So I bought an sv. The funny thing is, I have never refeved it over 5500 because im still in the break in eriod and can honestly tell you it will smoke both those bikes (the buell and my 98cu harley) especially the buell and it was a 1200. I just want to make it faster light to light is all I been riding ten years in and out of the mountains of virginia ( some times with the Hells Angels, dad was V.P of a sister club) . Im converting to a foreign bike, and just want it to be quicker. Thx guys

its a budget 650 v twin producing 70bhp your not going to get it 'faster' without shelling out some serious amounts of wonga. if you want to go drag racing between lights just mess with the sprockets.

personally if your going to keep it i would spend the cash on sorting the suspension out first. then a nice shiny new exhaust.

they are pogo sticks m8. there is little to no dampening. new springs/oil on the front to match your weight and if you really want it better put a racetcch emulator in. the backs are ok till about 10-15000 miles then they are shot.
