PS I'd prefer not to be shafted by cancelling anything IMO. Keep it insured, you never know YC might accidently blow up the garage

At least you are continuing to build up no claims in the mean time, and with insurance companies taking the pith right now, it would be far better to simpy upgrade when you have a bigger bike, and you've already got whatever you've paid for the 125s premium as deposit for the next one.

I would keep it insured. Youll not gain anything by cancelling it.

Ahh didn't know that was who Pete was with. And WEIRDLY, in the middle of typing this post, MCE have just rung as they've noticed I was looking for quotes online and they're going to try beat my lowest quote haha.

I may as well keep it insured aye. And I'll probably go with whatever they quote me (within reason) just to save plodding through more quotes.

First prob with MCE today, sold my old ZZR back in Feb and picked up my SV on the sunday but was told i could not change my insuracne coz MCE are the broker and the actual insurer was closed so i asked if i could take out a new policy for the SV as i need to ride it 50 mile back from where i bought it to my house, i asked at the time if i could add the NCB onto the new policy when the previous one expired which was a couple of weeks ago and was told i could. Got proof of 4 years NCB thru today only to now be told by MCE that i cnt add it on so i will still be on 4 years next year providing i dnt claim between now and next Feb, 1 whole year wasted!! Guy was very unhelpful to!
