Theres space here if you want to move the bike for a while.

Lock it to the ground anchor between my bikes.

Its an option if your that worried.

Garage saver could be worth looking at but as said before, if you highlight the security, they will want to know whats inside.

metal bar going from one side of the garage to the other padlocked in place at waist high will stop them getting the bikes wheeled out even if they did get in.

What husky said.
I may do that to the parents garage again.

Invest in a multi pitch mosquito unit that will scare them or make them pass out in pain

That assumes they're kids though right? And if that is the case a motion sensor cat deterant alarm will work - my 14 year old daughter winces in pain when she sets the one off in my parent's garden but I can't hear it at all.

I'd vote for door alarms to scare the gits but if you don't have power they will be the more feeble battery jobs.

The website has a testimonial from Plymouth City Council. From that draw your own conclusions.

Why would they deter thieves?

That scaffold bar at waist height is a brilliant sounding solution.

Garage defender on the door,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GARAGE-DEFENDE...673dd7fe505fe2

Battery alarm on the door,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GARAGE-GUARD-B...item35afdfca8a

Then the scaffold bar,

IF they get past the garage defender the alarm will go off when they open the door, then the bar will stop them hastily pushing the bikes into a van they'll see it and do one before anyone responds to the alarm.
