Cheers B & BB.
Very informative both.
Hopefully getting it in the 'shop tomorrow and will pass on your thoughts.

Hi all,

Got the bike down to the shop yesterday. Talked through things with the mechanic. He tilted the bike on the stand to be able to spin each wheel. Back wheel free-wheeled quite freely. Front, could only just turn it by hand. Brakes stuck on slightly. So constant friction, heat, boiling brake fluid, et al.

Big thanks to Deb for couriering up the fairing so quickly. What a great help.

Looking forward to being back on the road promptly, at little expense, and in time for my big tour down south visiting old army mates.

Thanks guys (yet again).
