You are talking some right b*llocks.

How is the tank pressurised, from where, with what? Have you ever seen what happens when an EFI fuel tank breather gets blocked? It collapses the tank!

Look underneath the cap, the actual bottom of the cap, there is a 1mm or so hole there. Try block it up and see how long engine runs for!

Wrong information is not helpful.
I did notice, talk of EFI one was just as example.

Double No, they're not. Carbed SVs have a gravity feed to the vacuum tap, FI models have a gravity feed to the pump inside the tank that pressurises the feed from it - not inside it.

All SVs have a breather in the tank, as do all liquid fuel vehicles - if they didn't there would be a vacuum in the tank and fuel flow would be compromised at best. Some vehicles subject to emissions controls have the breather led to a charcoal filter and/or the airbox - but ultimately the fuel in the tank is open to atmosphere.
