Come on after what you done already it is not a big job!

As for topping up, leave radiator cap off when you first run it. Level will drop when you start it, top it up. Then give it a minute and check for bubbles. I have seen one where gasket did not seal right and it was sort of gently fizzing.

ok. it turned over without the tank on. all you get is the f1 light on. oil light went out when turning after a while on and off. plugs back in and radiator tightened. tank to go back on next...

Sweet

Check the oil again when it's settled and you should be good to try and run it.

tried but either its being starved of fuel or not igniting. 10a fuses for the ignition and the fuel blew the first time i tried for around two minutes i replaced them but it still refuses to start. the engines cranks over nicely and levels are spot on. reminder i have a immobiliser but its working if it wasnt i wouldnt hear the sytem do the 'priming' sound which i do. and it wouldnt allow me to start it. when i emptied the tank to clean it out i turned ir upside down to do it. could it be clogged throttle bodies? who knows but i am almost there

ps when i trying to start it i didnt touch the throttle, how long should it take for the fuel to travel into the pistons when you first start it up after a rebuild?

Fuel is pretty instant.

Pump pressurises the fuel, which squishes any air in there up to the injectors. Air is very thin compared to viscous petrol so gets shot out of the injectors very easily. Maybe couple of injection events to "prime" the system, half a second or so?

You got spark? It should fire right up.
From fuse blowing it sounds like you disturbed some wiring. Probably the bit the immobiliser parasitises it's power from.

yup it sounds like the immobiliser circuit didnt like the work. i havent checked it for spark and i need to check that fuel is getting into the throttle bodies and directed into the valves (havent sussed out how to do that yet)

If pump is priming I would say it is a safe bet that injectors have fuel. If there is something up with ECU then fuel will not be injected nor will there be spark. Try dealer mode and see if it gives you a code.

http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...ht=dealer+mode

I bet ya its this, i flippin bet ya....... tps sensor plug was the last thing i connected before i powered it up...... we will see...

One thing i have noticed are my indicators are flashing twice as fast, don't know if this could be a side effect or another issue, oh well.

Another thing it could be is the Flasher relay im sure this has something to do with controlling the emergency cut outs.... more stuff to be bought!
