It might be because I'm on my phone.

Thanks very much for that. Do you happen to know how simple/complicated it will be to do it that way?

I've had a look, and as it happens the guy i bough the bike off supplied me with a colour matched undertray

would this mean that i would still need to follow the guide suggested by Winder?

Cheers

You would still need to chop the shovel off and then mount the undertray over whats left, well thats what i did so i would still have the battery tray etc.

Pop some pics up when you get the bike. If the old owner had a colour coded tray did he not try to fit it already?

I don't know to be honest. He gave me all the bits to do it, but didn't say wether he had or not?

I tried to post some pics last night, but it will only let me post tiny ones. Any idea how to post full size pics?

I done mine like this and it's quite easy. Just make sure you get a smaller liecence plate aswell
Just a 'heads up' that in doing this you will however have cut off the rear reflector which will need to be refitted ( vertically) somehow for MOT time!

You can get a little reflector from halfrauds for a few squid that is smaller and easy to mount

seems some MOT testers are less concerned than others, maybe as long as its fitted, mine is at the same angle as the number plate.
