As others have stated, the driver is responsible for ensuring the vehicle meets all requirements. £60 non-endorsable ticket for yourself for using/driving a vehicle with the MoT. If you stated that you'd been told to drive the vehicle by your boss I'm sure some of my colleagues would also pay them a visit and issue them an additional ticket for permitting use of a vehicle with no MoT.
Had it in the past where a hire vehicle was stopped with no MoT, poor customer had to be given a ticket and then the manager got one as well, the company paid up for both out of good faith. |
