Yes,you can express your thoughts but if you want to step up to the plate and do the organising go ahead and plan something else, which is when you suddenly discover that it is not so easy.

WELL DONE ORGANISERS OF THE GM AND AR

No you havent, you've seen a nasty side of a certain human being. You are also assuming that because somebody rides a bike it automatically makes them kind, decent, trustful and considerate.

It doesnt. Some people are just tw*ts, doesnt matter what they do, what social genre / category they fall into, what their hobbies are etc etc.

Most bikers I've met have been decent tbh but as fizz said, just cos you have a bike doesn't make you lose your personality disorders.

I've met some really good people who i consider friends on here and as a result of having a bike, without which I would never have met, so for that I'm glad.

I've said this before but there is defo a brotherhood or whatever you wanna call it, bikers on the whole will help other bikers, I've stopped loads of times to see if they are ok, probably wouldn't for it for most car drivers tbh.

+1

Have been on the receiving end of this many a time (outside of biking).

People will always bitch, snipe, moan etc...
Have seen it at charity bashes, even though they all knew most the cash was being raised to sort the finances of the host club

+1 for DT's comment on the organisers of GM's and the AR's etc...

thats a good slant Fizz and never thought of it that way. and I'm guilty of trying to find the good in everyone and making excuses for behaviour.

This definately applies to me. I can be a tw*t off the bike and on it, it also illustates the point I was trying to make above nicely.

Don't worry Q, it's not just you. I've organised runs and events in "other" organisations and it's just the same. It's also cyclical/random - sometimes you get happy nice people, sometimes the moaners come out - and sometimes you get more of the latter.
