SV MPG - how efficient is yours?

I'm getting 53.7 average per week on my commute which is about 22 miles a day on both A roads and motorway, and I don't hang about.

Averaged 63mpg over last 5 fillups. Mixed riding City rushour, chippy run, Motorway riding.
Does anyone know what, if any, diference the exhaust oxygen sensor and dual spark of 2007 + (according to Wikki) machines makes to mpg?

I get between 135 & 155 to a tank on the gsxr. That's about the same as my curvy, whereas the Sv1000 was between 90 & 120!!

I tried extreme eco riding once, but it was very boring, so it only lasted about 10 minutes.

Although I was gob-smacked seeing Stonsie's this morning before coming here. Although smug that I'm beating madnlooney at work! :P

I wouldnt say I do extreem eco rideing, some days though, I'm just in no hurry at all and will potter about at the speed limit working on my cornering lines, the less speed you loose the less fuel you burn getting back upto pace (helps with the chicken strips too)

My best economy was on a 200 mile rideout with a mate and one of his friends, he was running his new transalp in so we never went above 70, but on the roads he found us that was fast enough.
