Try the Bike Insurer. Just got some quotes for me SV1000 which is up next month and they came out with the cheapest quotes by some margin.

Bennets, TPFT Inc Roadside RAC costs me approx 15 quid a month .
Tip :- if your paying in installments check how much you pay after interest. Bennets werent the cheapest but as I pay monthly they worked out 30 quid cheaper than the rest plus I got 20 quid cash back through quidco (this virtually paid for my RAC cover) This is my first bike so I havent any no claims and am classed as a new rider although I have been driving 15yrs and have been claim free Also don't bother with legal cover, register with www.sorrymate.com as it's free there ( chances are if your going to have an off it'll be caused by a car driver ) Hope this helps !! |

Baring in mind I have 3 points, a claim against me and only 3 years NCB I've just had some good news with insurance.
It's up for renewal next month. Been internet and phone shopping all day for prices. I would get good quotes from all those search engines but then get turned down when I actually went for one, which was nice. e-bike were on top for a while as they let me disclose all my upgrades quite easily but fully comp was around £700 quid with a £650 excess... So that can rod off! I'm currently with Chaucer (TP only Brokered by H & R insurance) so I gave H & R a call. Told them all my upgrades that I 'would' be doing in the next week. Fully Comp came back at £342 TPFT at £175. Both of these less than half that anyone else could get me. I decided to go for TP only as it's cheapest and I'm gonna be a student soon. I'm currently paying £25 quid and next month it goes down to £16.66 with Helmet and Leathers added. If I had the money I'd go for fully comp as I've never been quoted as good as that. I strongly recommend H & R insurance for anyone. I wasn't on the phone long and I was able to run through every possible combination of insurance and they were really helpful. Even when the claim was made a few years ago all I had to do was sign a letter of conformation and post it back... easy as pie and I'm well happy! |

Anyone else had any experience of sorrymate.com - I always worry about things that look a bit too good to be true. If you get 100% of your claim, and it's free, how do they get their money?
