The 3 line setup is very neat but it does cost more.

The 2 line "race" setup is perfectly fine if it's fitted carefully. Often the lines are not routed very carefully and rub on bits of plastic, and generally look untidy to my eyes.

I'd agree with this, the two line "race" setup definitely takes a bit more time and care to install neatly than a setup with a single line from master cylinder. I found I had to mess around with my HEL lines for quite a while to get a route where the lines weren't twisted, and they didn't rub over the full range of steering lock and suspension travel - the Venhill hoses are a bit easier to install because the separate banjos mean you eliminate any static twist in the hose irrespective of routing.

I also had to get some rubber lined hose clamps to attach the hoses to the lower yoke, the standard hose clip isn't really suitable and if you don't attach them here they flap about and rub on various bits of the bike.

After having a play on my mates fazer, i came to realise how shocking my breaks were!
Will i notice a drastic difference with braided hoses? Looking to put a Venhill 2 line set up on.

Webber, I would be looking at the calipers too and give them a good clean while they are off for the new lines to be fitted.

Oh and I have ordered a 2 line HEL set, not here yet but I can't wait to get them on.

Just ordered Goodridge Shadow 2 line kit. There's a 25% discount from Demon Tweaks. Top range lines for £48.
